Climate data

In TreeWat, used as a tool for strategic and tactical irrigation decisions, it is recommended to use long climate series to account for interannual climate variability. By default, model calculations start on 1 September, so the climate dataset must cover at least one full year from this date. Daily data on precipitation (mm/day) and reference evapotranspiration (ETo; mm/day) are required.

Please, follow this format strictly:

3 columns (in this order): Date (dd/mm/yyyy), precipitation (mm/day), ETo (mm/day). At least 366 rows (1 header + 365 days) - correct for a non-leap year.

Initial conditions

By default, TreeWat considers that the water depletion in the root zone is 70% of the total available water on 1st September. If you considers that condition occurs on another date, pleas indicate it:
